I was very pleased with the website Web Division (WD) created for me, but my after-sales experience with them has been patchy:
1 WD offered 1 hour of free training upon completion of the website, to familiarise me with it. This was *demonstration* - not true *training* - and inadequate to bring me to a point where I could edit/manage my own content. No support materials were provided - take your own pen and paper, or make your own audio/video of the session.
2 after that, I had to work out what I didn't know, what I needed to ask, what mistakes I had made, and what to ask help for. WD gave me some extra time for free, but eventually asked that I pay for more training.
3 the hourly rate quoted for this, was far above industry standards for *training*, and no indication was given that it would be adequate. After my taste of it in #1 above, I didn't feel confident that it would be worth it.
4 two months after the launch of my site, and despite several emails to WD about it, my visitors *still* can't register an account with me - they see "User registration is currently not allowed".
5 regarding WD's digital marketing service: two months after launch, and despite several emails to WD with assurances that I would hear back, I haven't received a single piece of information about it.
Conclusion: WD has been friendly and welcoming and the website they created for me is very nice, but I feel their after-sales service leaves something to be desired.

Fast-forward seven months...
No sooner had I posted the above review than I was contacted by Stuart from Web Division. They wanted to know where or how an issue had arisen between us, and what all of us could do to fix it. Their response was immediate, decisive, friendly, and helpful. We corresponded by email, met in person, and worked through all the questions I had till we were clear that I had the answers to proceed to enjoy working on my site.
I couldn't have asked for a better response, and I'm very grateful that they hung on in there with me while we sorted things out. Thank you WD!
